Thank you for using MyCyclocomp! Your privacy is important to us. MyCyclocomp is designed as a privacy-focused cycling computer application that allows you to track cycling activities, record GPS routes, monitor speed and distance, and optionally connect to Bluetooth heart rate monitors.

This Privacy Policy explains how MyCyclocomp ("we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use the App.

1. Information We Access

MyCyclocomp does not require you to create an account and does not collect personal information on our servers.

The App may access the following information on your device:

• Location Information: GPS location is used to record your cycling route, calculate speed and distance, and display your position on a map. Location access is used when you start a trip recording or use a feature that requires location information.

• Bluetooth Information: If you choose to use a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) heart rate monitor, the App may scan for, connect to, and receive heart rate measurements from compatible devices.

• Fitness Profile: You may optionally provide information such as age, height, and weight. This information is used locally to calculate personalized heart rate training zones.

• Activity Information: During a cycling activity, the App may store information such as date and time, GPS coordinates, speed, distance, duration, average speed, maximum speed, and heart rate measurements when a heart rate monitor is connected.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information accessed by MyCyclocomp is used only to provide the App's functionality.

This includes:

• Recording and displaying your cycling routes.

• Calculating cycling speed, distance, and duration.

• Displaying your current position on a map.

• Receiving and displaying heart rate information from compatible Bluetooth devices.

• Calculating personalized heart rate training zones.

• Saving and displaying your cycling activity history.

• Importing and exporting GPX files.

MyCyclocomp does not use your information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or user tracking.

3. Data Storage

MyCyclocomp is designed as a local-first application.

Your activity data and optional fitness profile are stored locally on your device using the App's local storage and file system.

MyCyclocomp does not upload your activity data to our servers.

We do not operate a cloud database containing your cycling history, GPS routes, heart rate data, or fitness profile.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or intentionally share your personal or activity data with third parties.

MyCyclocomp does not use advertising SDKs, analytics services, user tracking services, or third-party services designed to collect your activity data.

However, the App may request map tiles from an OpenStreetMap-based tile provider to display maps.

Map tile requests are made by your device over the internet. As with normal internet communication, the map tile provider may receive standard technical information such as your IP address. MyCyclocomp does not intentionally send your cycling history, heart rate information, fitness profile, or other activity data with these requests.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to keep MyCyclocomp data within the App's local storage on your device.

Because the App does not upload your activity data to our servers, we do not maintain a remote copy of your cycling history.

However, the security of locally stored data also depends on the security of your device, operating system, backups, and other applications that you authorize to access your device or files.

6. Your Choices

You have control over the information stored by MyCyclocomp.

You can:

• View your recorded activities through the App.

• Delete individual activity records where supported.

• Import or export GPX files using your device's file system.

• Grant or revoke Location and Bluetooth permissions through your device settings.

• Delete the App and its locally stored data according to your device's operating system behavior.

If you revoke required permissions, certain features of the App may no longer function correctly.

MyCyclocomp uses open-source libraries to provide its functionality, including:

• geolocator — GPS and location access

• flutter_map — Map display

• latlong2 — Geographic coordinate calculations

• flutter_compass — Compass and heading information

• gpx — GPX file parsing and generation

• flutter_blue_plus — Bluetooth Low Energy communication

• permission_handler — Device permission management

• shared_preferences — Local data storage

• path_provider — Local file system access

• fl_chart — Speed and heart rate charts

• file_picker — GPX file import and file selection

These libraries are used to provide the App's features. MyCyclocomp does not intentionally configure these libraries to collect or transmit your personal activity data to us.

8. Children's Privacy

MyCyclocomp is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since MyCyclocomp does not require an account and does not maintain a personal information database, the App does not intentionally collect personal information from users.
